Three generations of welcoming guests to Oak Head Caravan Park

Located in the heart of the stunning Lake District, our family-run caravan park has been offering unforgettable escapes since the 1950s. Originally a working farm and woodland, grandfather, Aaron Scott, saw the potential to share this beautiful landscape with visitors. He welcomed the first touring caravans, laying the foundation for what is now a much-loved retreat.

In the 1960s, his son Stanley and wife Ann expanded the park, introducing modern facilities and static caravans to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests.

Today, Aaron’s grandson Glen and his wife Beverley continue the family tradition, combining warm hospitality with thoughtful updates to keep the park a relaxing and scenic getaway. Whether you’re looking for adventure in the fells, peaceful lakeside strolls, or a welcoming base to explore the Lake District, we invite you to be part of our story and create your own special memories here.
